On April 14, Professor Haiyan Gao, vice chancellor for academic affairs at Duke Kunshan University, gave a talk on proton at a plenary session of the American Physical Society’s April Meeting 2015. Titled ‘Proton ‘ a fascinating relativistic many-body system ‘ remain puzzling’, Professor Gao’s presentation reviewed the puzzles surrounding proton and the efforts to solve them.
In addition, Prof. Gao was interviewed by Deutschlandfunk, a German public broadcasting radio station, which aired and published a news story (in German) on her latest research on proton’s charge radius. The news story is also available in English.
