From joining world-renowned graduate programs to launching careers at leading companies, the second undergraduate Class of 2023 moved on to exciting new chapters after leaving Duke Kunshan University (DKU).
Some 84 percent of the 281 graduates went on to pursue graduate studies at the world’s highest-ranked universities—with 80 percent at the top 10 and Ivy League universities in the United States—while 15 percent entered the workforce, according to DKU’s recently released career report for the undergraduate Class of 2023. The remainder engaged in activities such as volunteering and start-ups.
Highlights of the report by DKU Career Services include:
- The cohort received 407 offers for graduate study from the top 10 and Ivy League universities in the United States, including Duke, Harvard, Yale and Stanford.
- Two students were selected for some of the world’s most prestigious scholarship programs: the McCall MacBain Scholar at McGill University in Canada and the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s program.
- Students secured job offers from employers such as Amazon, TikTok, Bloomberg, IBM, PwC, AstraZeneca, Google, Harvard, Yale and Duke Kunshan. The highest reported salary was RMB 1,773,000 (USD 245,000).
