Class of 2025 moves on to top graduate programs and global careers

From top graduate programs to major employers around the world, Duke Kunshan University’s undergraduate Class of 2025 is moving into its next chapter with momentum.

According to DKU’s newly released career report for the undergraduate Class of 2025, 79% of graduates chose to continue their academic journeys, many earning offers from leading institutions in the United States and around the world, including Duke, Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Columbia, the University of Pennsylvania, Northwestern, Johns Hopkins, as well as the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge. Nearly 19% of graduates entered the workforce directly, reflecting a growing trend toward diverse professional pathways and global placements.

The report also underscores the cohort’s strong research profile, highlighting hundreds of student-led projects and publications that reflect DKU undergraduates’ ability to take on complex, interdisciplinary challenges.

Highlights from the report include:

  • 79% of graduates chose further study, including placements at top 10 U.S. universities and Ivy League institutions and global leaders such as Oxford and Cambridge.
  • 24 graduates enrolled directly in doctoral programs, including 21 Chinese students, the highest number to date.
  • Five students received major international opportunities: three international graduates were selected for Peking University’s Yenching Scholars Program, and two students (one international and one Chinese) earned full scholarships through the EU’s Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Program.
  • The share entering the workforce directly rose to nearly 19%, with hires at organizations such as Meta, JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Unilever, Deloitte, NASA, and BP.
  • Graduates completed 339 individual research projects, published 76 papers in international journals, and presented at leading academic conferences.
